Day 01: Arrival in Paro
Your adventure with Explore Landlock Tours & Trek begins with an exhilarating flight over the Himalayan Mountains, offering awe-inspiring views of peaks like Jumolhari and Jichu Drake. Upon arrival in Paro, our team will extend a warm Bhutanese welcome. Explore the historic Paro Dzong and the National Museum before heading to Thimphu, Bhutan’s unique capital city without traffic lights. Spend the night in Thimphu, soaking in the city’s charm.

Day 02: Thimphu to Punakha
Discover the cultural treasures of Thimphu, starting with a visit to Tashichhodzong, the main secretariat building and the summer residence of Je Khenpo, the Chief Abbot. Explore Bhutan’s rich literary heritage at the National Library, and learn about traditional healing methods at the Indigenous Hospital. Admire Bhutanese artistry at the Art School, where students are trained in various traditional arts and crafts. Later, pay your respects at the Memorial Chorten, a stupa built in memory of the Third King of Bhutan. Delve deeper into Bhutanese craftsmanship at the Handicrafts Emporium and gain insight into the country’s textile traditions at the Textile and Folk Heritage Museum. In the afternoon, embark on a scenic drive to Punakha, situated at a lower elevation and known for its pleasant climate.

Day 03: Punakha to Paro
Begin your day with a visit to Yabesa village, followed by a hike to Khamsum Yueley Namgyal Chorten, an architectural masterpiece built by Queen Ashi Tshering Yangdon Wangchuk. Enjoy a riverside picnic lunch before exploring Wangduephodrang Dzong, an imposing fortress perched on a hilltop overlooking the confluence of two rivers. Visit Chimi Lhakhang, a temple dedicated to the Divine Madman, and Punakha Dzong, the “Palace of Great Happiness” built in 1637. As you journey back to Paro via Dochula Pass, marvel at the breathtaking views of the Himalayan peaks.

Day 04: Paro – Hike to Taktshang Monastery (Tiger Nest)
Embark on a legendary hike to Taktsang Monastery, also known as Tiger’s Nest, one of Bhutan’s most iconic landmarks. Clinging to a sheer cliff face 900 meters above the Paro Valley, this sacred monastery holds great religious significance. After your hike, explore Paro’s cultural treasures, including Ta Dzong Museum, a fascinating showcase of Bhutanese history and culture, and Rimpung Dzong, a majestic fortress monastery overlooking the Paro River.

Cancellation Period:Cancellations made more than 60 days before the start date: Full refund, minus any non-refundable fees.
Between 30-60 Days:50% refund of the total tour cost.
Between 15-29 Days:25% refund of the total tour cost.
Within 15 Days:No refund.

- Any non-refundable fees incurred by Explore Landlocked Tours & Trek will be deducted from the refund.
- Changes to the itinerary or departure dates are subject to availability and may incur additional charges.
- In case of unforeseen circumstances leading to tour cancellation by Explore Landlocked Tours & Trek, a full refund will be provided.
- We highly recommend securing travel insurance to cover unexpected events that may lead to cancellations.
- Refunds will be processed using the same method as the original payment. Please allow a reasonable processing time.
- All cancellations must be communicated in writing to Bhutan Travel Center.
