Itinerary

Your journey begins with a warm welcome from our representative at Paro Airport. After completing customs formalities, we head to Ta Dzong National Museum, housing an extensive collection of Bhutanese artifacts and art. Descend to explore Paro Rimpong Dzong, a majestic fortress-monastery overlooking the Paro Valley. We then drive to Thimphu, the capital city of Bhutan, where you’ll spend the night at a hotel.

Today’s exploration begins with a visit to the Big Buddha Statue viewpoint, offering panoramic views of Thimphu valley. Wander through the National Memorial Chorten, a sacred monument honoring Bhutan’s Third King. Discover the rich cultural heritage at Changangkha Temple and Folk Heritage Museum. Take a leisurely stroll through the weekend market, bustling with local vendors. Visit the Takin Reserve and Trashichhodzong, a grand fortress housing government offices and the throne room of the King. If time permits, venture to Dochu La pass for breathtaking Himalayan vistas.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation Period:Cancellations made more than 60 days before the start date: Full refund, minus any non-refundable fees.

Between 30-60 Days:50% refund of the total tour cost.

Between 15-29 Days:25% refund of the total tour cost.

Within 15 Days:No refund.

Note:

  • Any non-refundable fees incurred by Explore Landlocked Tours & Trek will be deducted from the refund.
  • Changes to the itinerary or departure dates are subject to availability and may incur additional charges.
  • In case of unforeseen circumstances leading to tour cancellation by Explore Landlocked Tours & Trek, a full refund will be provided.
  • We highly recommend securing travel insurance to cover unexpected events that may lead to cancellations.
  • Refunds will be processed using the same method as the original payment. Please allow a reasonable processing time.
  • All cancellations must be communicated in writing to Bhutan Travel Center.
