Itinerary

Upon arrival at Paro International Airport, you will be greeted by our team and proceed to Thimphu, the capital city of Bhutan, via a scenic drive. En route, you’ll pass by the picturesque Paro River and charming villages like Bondey, Shaba, and Isina. After crossing Chuzom, where Paro and Thimphu rivers meet, the road follows the Thimphu River, leading you to the heart of Thimphu. Upon arrival, visit the weekend market and explore the indigenous goods section. In the evening, take a leisurely walk through the city streets and visit Tashichho Dzong, an architectural marvel housing the throne room of His Majesty the King and government offices.

Begin your day with a visit to Cheri Monastery, the first Buddhist monastic school in Bhutan, followed by a drive past the iconic Memorial Chorten. Explore Buddha viewpoint for panoramic views of the valley before visiting Changangkha Lhakhang and the National Textile Museum. Immerse yourself in Bhutanese weaving traditions and cultural heritage. In the afternoon, stroll through the streets of Thimphu, known for its unique blend of modernity and tradition.

Cancellation Period:Cancellations made more than 60 days before the start date: Full refund, minus any non-refundable fees.

Between 30-60 Days:50% refund of the total tour cost.

Between 15-29 Days:25% refund of the total tour cost.

Within 15 Days:No refund.

  • Any non-refundable fees incurred by Explore Landlocked Tours & Trek will be deducted from the refund.
  • Changes to the itinerary or departure dates are subject to availability and may incur additional charges.
  • In case of unforeseen circumstances leading to tour cancellation by Explore Landlocked Tours & Trek, a full refund will be provided.
  • We highly recommend securing travel insurance to cover unexpected events that may lead to cancellations.
  • Refunds will be processed using the same method as the original payment. Please allow a reasonable processing time.
